SANDRA SMITH

Sandra Smith, age 63 of Middlesboro, passed away July 17, 2017.

She was born on July 20, 1953 to the late John Turner Bradley and Susan J. Rigney.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sisters Debra Faye Bradley and Sue Ann Bradley, brothers Roger L. Bradley and James Lee Bradley, and grandparents Bud and Helen Davis.

She is survived by the following members of her family, husband Charlie Ray Smith, sons Tommy Simpson, and Dustin Smith, sisters Karen Bradley, and Mary Bradley, brothers John (Eileen) Bradley, Kenneth (Karen) Bradley, and Charles Bradley, half sister Denise Bradley, half brother Jon (Denise) Bradley, grandsons Tommy Wayne Simpson, and Dakota Smith, and great-granddaughter Christina Jean Simpson.

And a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 21, 2017 at the Smith Cemetery in Dunlap Hollow with Rev. Mitchell Nash presiding.

GEORGE MARSEE

George Marsee, age 66 of Middlesboro, passed away July 8, 2017. He was born December 23, 1950 to the late France and Cloetta Redmon Marsee.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his grandparents, sister-in-law Glenda Marsee, and niece Jennifer Marsee.

He is survived by the following members of his family, wife Betsy Marsee, sons Brandon Marsee and Jonas Marsee, daughter Beth Marsee, brothers William (Shirley Johnson) Marsee, and Patrick (Ruth) Marsee, sister Carletta Cottrell, nephews Todd Marsee, Jonathan Marsee, Tyler Marsee, Curtis Hensley, and Todd Hensley, nieces Julie Barnett and Nikki Marsee, great nephews Joey Barnett and Braden Osborne, great nieces Kayla and Mallory James, and his special pets Charlie, Puppy, Bird Bird, and Congo.

And a host of special cousins, aunts, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Garry Bingham presiding. Music will be provided by The Nichols Family and Mitch Williams.

Gravesides services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Mountain View Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee.

JEAN WILLIAMS COLEMAN

Jean Williams Coleman, age 92 of Middlesboro, passed away at Middlesboro A.R.H. on July 7, 2017.

Mrs. Coleman was born July 29, 1924 in Middlesboro, and was the youngest daughter of the late John Morgan and Matilda Brooks Williams, both of Middlesboro.

Mrs. Coleman graduated from Middlesboro High School in 1942 and worked in Dayton, Ohio as a telephone operator during World War II. Upon returning to Middlesboro, she married Don S. Coleman of Middlesboro in 1946 with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. Mrs. Coleman worked locally at the Middlesboro telephone company and volunteered in the community. She has been an active and founding member of Binghamtown Baptist Church, where she has served as her Sunday school class treasurer, choir member, Sunday school and vacation bible school teacher, and on numerous church committees.

Mrs. Coleman is survived by two children: Donna Robertson and her husband Wayne of Greenville, Tennessee; and John Coleman and his wife Glenda of Harrogate, Tennessee. She is survived by three granddaughters: Johnna Coleman Shockley of Knoxville; Cynthia Robertson of Greenville; and Christin Robertson Carter and husband Nathan of Maryville. She is survived by four great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Evelyn Shockley; and Miles and Mia Carter. She is survived by two special friends, June Rice and Haven Burchett.

Preceding Mrs. Coleman in death were her husband, her parents, five sisters, and five brothers. Sisters: Neva Douglas, Maude Williams, Lela Williams, Vernie Williams, and Marie Williams. Brothers: Clarence Williams, Dubois Williams, Earnest Williams, Ermal Williams, and Cale Williams.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham of Binghamtown Baptist Church presiding.

Interment will be private.

Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, July 10, 2017 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

DAVID CHARLES ESTES

David Charles Estes 58 of Speedwell, TN. passed away July 5, 2017. He was born January 19, 1959.

David was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church and a 1977 graduate of Powell Valley High School.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Estes and His niece Tracey Estes.

Survivors include the following members of his family: Mother Ruby Estes; Son Jason Estes; Daughter Stacey Estes Williams; Granddaughter Rhaley Williams; Grandson Rhyder Williams; Maternal Mother Edna Morrison; Brothers Bill Estes and Jack Estes; Sisters Charlotte Ray (David), Brenda Belcher (Anthony), Lisa Cowan, Mary Ann Earle (Fred), Janice Fortenberry (JW), Betty Ferris (Keith) and a host of nieces and nephews.

All services will be private with Rev. Mike Humfleet presiding, music will be provided by Linda Lankford.
