  1. Thoughts and prayers ….. unable to travel as I want to but will be there in spirit. Knowing and learning from Robert was a highlight of my life.

  2. Please accept my sincere sympathies. My parents, Raymond & Fern Thomas, dearly loved him & his wife! Mr. Wilson was a gifted Appalachian craftsman, and I am blessed to own some of his beautiful works of art!

  3. I walk through my home and almost every room has a reminder of Robert and Gladys, crochet pieces Gladys did, stools and chairs made and weaved by Robert. One of the most enjoyable summer mornings I ever spent was on the porch of their home in 2005 as I watched Robert patiently teach my young friend, 10 year old Sapan Maini- Thompson, how to weave a white oak basket, an Appalachian treasure, Sapan took back to his home in Streatley, England. That day Gladys cooked lunch for us using vegetables from her garden. Their heirloom tomatoes were the best. You were a fine man, Robert Wilson, and Gladys was a fine lady. Our world was blessed by both of you and now Heaven rejoices!

  4. Carl, Donna, Kaye and family – My heart grieves with you today, at the Home Going of your Dad. May you hear the Comforting Words of Jesus – ” I am with you and will never forsake you,I will wipe the tears, heal the pain and Love You Forever,
    Trust in Me.”

  5. very sorry I did not get down there to see Robert we had many a good time together
