She was a lifelong resident of Lee County, VA and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Rose Hill, VA. She dedicated 30 years of her life to the children of Ewing Elementary School.
Her passion for her grandchildren and great grandchildren was unmeasurable and she believed them to be her greatest accomplishment.
She was preceded in death by her: Parents: James and Edith Hammac. Loving husband of 33 years: Hubert Warf. Brothers: Lee Ray and Walter Hammac. Sister: Agnes Ayers.
She is survived by her: Son: Jerry (Kathy) Warf Daughters: Kim (James) Hatfield and Mindy Roberts. Grandchildren: Jonathon Warf, Jason (DeAnna) Warf, Nancy Hatfield, Chris Hatfield, Whittney (Jedidiah) Rowlett, Jordan Warf, Adam (Jessica) Williams, Cody Hatfield and Wesley Hatfield. Great Grandchildren: Michael Warf, Alex Warf, Taylor Rowlett, Nevaeh Warf, Teagan Rowlett and Beau Williams. Several nephews, nieces and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 25th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with funeral services to follow at Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Noe officiating.
Music will be provided by Jimmy Williams and Betty Y. Smith.
Graveside services will be held Sunday, November 26th at 10:00 AM in the Burchett Cemetery in Claiborne County, TN.
Pallbearers: Jonathon Warf, Jason Warf, Jordan Warf, Adam Williams, Cody Hatfield, Wesley Hatfield and Jedidiah Rowlett.
The family is very thankful for the loving care she received at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.
