Ford loved coon hunting and horseback riding. His favorite horse was a barrel racer called Black Jack, and his favorite coon dog was Champ.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother James “Jimmy” Rouse Jr., both paternal and maternal grandparents, special uncles William, Don, Danny, and Dallas Wombles, brother-in-law Steve Cupp, nephew John Wilson, and special aunt Betty Faye Bargo.
He is survived by the following members of his family, long time companion Sheryl Brooks, children Ashley, Brittany, Shalaine, Seth, Tristan, and Breanna, a host of grandchildren, brothers and sisters Lucrettia Cupp, Melinda (Jackie) Gilbert, Shirley Rouse, Earnest “Bucky” (Jessica) Rouse, Jackie (Lillian) Wombles, special uncle Ernie “JR” Wombles, and special friend Shelia Hatfiled.
And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Ferndale Pentecostal Church with Rev. Walter Brock presiding.
Graveside services will follow at the Mathel Cemetery, Pineville, KY.
Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018 at Ferndale Pentecostal Church.
